After reported 13 deaths: General Motors expands recall to 1.36 million Chevrolet and Pontiac vehicles

General Motors added more than 588,000 vehicles to a recall to fix ignition switches that can inadvertently shut off engines and cause crashes.

This problem has now been linked to 31 crashes and 13 front-seat deaths, the Detroit-based company said yesterday (25.02.2014).
