First Test-drive in Egypt and Middle East: The 2011 Volkswagen Jetta

Again, Auto Arabia was the first automotive media in the Middle East and North Africa region to test-drive one of the most popular models in our markets.

This time it is the all-new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta, which is, unlike in Central Europe and Germany where the Golf is the best-seller, extremely successful in the USA and the Middle East region.

We test-drove the 1.2 TSI, the 1.6 TDI and the 2.0 TDI. And you will be surprised which engine we like most.

Stay tuned for the detailed 2011 Jetta driving impression very soon here on autoarabia.org !

Poll

How do you evaluate the official Volkswagen importer and its service center in Egypt?
  • Very bad. Volkswagen needs a new representative in Egypt, preferably Dogus Auto from Turkey which was official VW Nutzfahrzeuge dealer in Egypt once before.
  • Bad. Volkswagen needs a new representative in Egypt, preferably a new importer from the Gulf region.
  • Average. But Volkswagen still needs a new 'Egyptian' representative or importer in Egypt.
  • Good. Egyptian Automotive Company and Karim El Naggar are doing a good job. Everything should stay the same.
