Tata Motors appoints former GM Europe head Forster as group CEO
Indian car manufacturer Tata Motors announced today it has appointed Carl-Peter Forster as CEO of the Tata Group. Forster quit GM in November after criticizing the U.S. carmaker for reversing a decision to sell its European Opel/Vauxhall unit to Canadian supplier Magna International Inc. and its Russian partner Sberbank.
