Skoda, Seat and Bentley hit by the market downturn


Volkswagen group's VW and Audi brands posted increased profits for the first nine months but the group's Skoda, Seat and Bentley brands were hit by the market downturn. VW's group's third-quarter operating profit rose 15 percent to 4.9 billion euros, compared with the year before. The group's revenues rose by 5.5 percent to 85.4 billion euros from January to September.
