Four Glass makers hit with 1.38 Billion Euro fine
Four car glass makers have been hit with the European Commission's largest cartel fine in history after being found guilty of "cheating" car buyers and car companies.
Saint-Gobain (France), Pilkington (United Kingdom), Asahi Glass (Japan), and Soliver (Belgium) have been ordered to pay 1.38bn euros ($1.73bn / £1.14bn).
The four companies were fined for illegal market-sharing and exchanging commercially sensitive information between 1998 and 2003.
