BMW Middle East gears up to launch 7 Series facelift

BMW Group has confirmed that the refined model of its flagship BMW 7 Series will go on sale in the Middle East this September, while no specific date has been set for the Egyptian market yet.

The current generation of the BMW 7 Series is the most successful of all times. It is the leading luxury sedan and consistently amongst BMW Group’s best-selling cars in the Middle East. The new BMW 7 Series will bring new levels of comfort, luxury and power when it arrives in the Middle East next month.

Bringing a whole new level of comfort to the BMW 7 Series, pneumatic rear axle suspension now comes as standard in all models. This system keeps the car riding at a constant height no matter what kind of driving conditions it encounters and regardless of the loads on board. It automatically responds to any change in load by adjusting the suspension accordingly to give a much smoother and comfortable ride. New chassis components with BMW fine-tuning improve noise insulation and vibration control to considerably enhance ride comfort and cabin acoustics, creating a truly stress-free interior for work or relaxation.

Complementing the optimised chassis and suspension set-up is the standard-fitted Electric Power Steering. State-of-the-art electronic control systems with retuned software ensure that travelling on board the 7 Series is even more pleasurable for passengers in terms of both dynamics and comfort.

Luxury is redefined by the use of top-class materials, quality workmanship and outstanding practicality in the interior of the new BMW 7 Series. The driver and front passenger can relax into newly designed leather seats offering optimum lateral support and long-distance comfort. The optional rear seat entertainment package comes with a new 9.2-inch flat screen monitor to ensure a refreshing diversion for extended journeys, while a new 1,200-watt Bang & Olufsen High End Surround Sound System with 16 speakers delivers unimpeachable sound quality.

Exuding confidence and power, the new model is armed with new and comprehensively revised engines with technology that channels power to the driven wheels through an intelligent eight-speed automatic transmission.

Alongside the flagship BMW 760Li with its 12-cylinder powerplant, Middle East customers can also choose from the new six-cylinder in-line engine powering the BMW 740i and 730Li and the revised V8 petrol engine earmarked for the BMW 750i.

Commenting on the launch, Dr. Joerg Breuer, Managing Director, BMW Group Middle East, said: “The BMW 7 Series is our flagship of the range and has over the years continued to set new standards in the automotive industry in terms of luxury, design and innovation. The new model includes subtle but significant design and technology modifications that give the car a stronger presence and new levels of comfort, luxury and power. With the car arriving in the region this September, we have no doubt that the 7 Series will continue its successful journey as the leading sedan in the luxury segment and be a strong driving force behind future sales achievements.
