Infiniti strengthens partnership with Arab Luxury World Conference in Dubai

For the third year in a row, Infiniti, one of the fastest growing premium automotive brands in the region will be the sole automotive partner for the Arab Luxury World conference in 2016.

The two-day annual conference brings together high-profile individuals from across the luxury industry, including manufacturers, retailers, distributors, financial sector players and fashion designers, in addition to decision makers and consumers from the region and beyond.

As a leading premium brand in the Middle East, Infiniti has partnered with Arab Luxury World – the conference on the business of luxury in the Middle East – to provide insights into the region’s luxury sector and to provide industry insiders a platform to openly discuss and explore business opportunities amid the challenging economic times.

Mr Julien Hawari, Co-CEO, Mediaquest, said: “Despite the economic headwinds, the region is moving in the right direction, with governments taking various steps, such as diversification and moving away from oil revenues. To sail smoothly in this challenging environment, businesses and industry stakeholders need the right information, knowledge and data to make sense of the new realities and risks. For 2016’s Arab Luxury World, we decided to have an overarching theme of ‘The New Normal’, which will be covered in more than 30 sessions spread over two days.”

“The two-day conference in Dubai will witness an assembly of businesspeople, international experts, retailers, designers, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, industry experts and high-net-worth individuals – basically anybody who is somebody in the business of luxury – to discuss different topics, such as digital strategy, the rise of community malls, taxes and their consequences, e-commerce, the spending and needs of HNWIs, and price arbitration, among others,” Mr Hawari added.

“Household names in the luxury sector from the Middle East region and the rest of the world will come together to discuss the challenges, opportunities and the potential of premium and luxury goods and services markets. Infiniti is a great brand to have in partnership with us, as it has innovation, luxury and overachievement at its heart. ” concluded Mr Hawari.

Mr Juergen Schmitz, Managing Director, Infiniti, in the Middle East, will discuss his views during the opening panel on ‘The New Norm’ which seeks to identify how the luxury landscape in the region is changing.

“The Middle East is a very important market for Infiniti and, as a premium brand, we are delighted to be the sole automotive partner of the Arab Luxury World conference,” said Schmitz. “We have seen the conference enjoy progressive year on year growth – both in terms of numbers as well as the topical issues that are discussed by industry peers. We at Infiniti believe that the insights, trends and studies that are shared and discussed on the platform – serves as a valuable aid for operators like ourselves in the premium world – to successfully take the right business decisions with the region in context.”

The Arab Luxury World conference will take place on June 1 and 2 at The Westin Mina Seyahi, Dubai, UAE.
