Mirna Al-Qassim new Public Relation Manager at Porsche

Dubai-Cairo / Porsche Middle East & Africa announced the appointment of Mirna Al-Qassim as regional public relations manager. In her new role, Mirna will be responsible for the corporate and product communications of Porsche in the region covering GCC, Levant, Africa, Iran, Pakistan and India, reporting directly to the managing director.

Palestinian-Egyptian living in Dubai, Mirna’s exposure to diversified cultures and contacts helped her understand the Middle East media culture and the various communications channels that operate in the region.

Deesch Papke, Managing Director of Porsche Middle East & Africa said: “We are very pleased to welcome Mirna to our team and are confident that she will add value to our brand through her extensive experience and background. She is another asset for our company, and her appointment perfectly suits our strategy to maintain and enhance the Porsche brand image and experience in the region, keeping pace with our growth.”

Mirna joined the PR industry from a background of copywriting and PR in various multinational agencies in Dubai. Sectors she worked on included governments, automotive, banking, telecommunications, FMCG, healthcare, interior design, humanitarian and luxury brands. Her diverse industry experience has been visibly leveraged in many successful PR & Public Affairs campaigns in the Middle East on behalf of various clients. Prior to joining Porsche Middle East & Africa she was heading the automotive teams handling various car brands across the region.

Mirna expressed her excitement to join Porsche and said: “I am delighted to be part of the Porsche team, and I look forward to serving this world class brand through my experience and passion for the brand”.

Mirna holds a degree in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations from the American University in Cairo.
