G IS FOR GORGEOUS – The new Infiniti G37 Convertible

If you are looking for a ‘gorgeous’ convertible then you should definitely wait until early 2009, as Infiniti will launch its G37 Convertible. Infiniti has already released the first picture of the new G37 Convertible which will receive its official global debut at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show in November. Nevertheless Infiniti showed the G37 Convertible for a short while at the famous Concours d'Elegance at Pebble Beach near San Fransisco.
Sales have initially been confirmed only for the US market where it will be launched early in 2009, but no dates have been confirmed for Europe and the Middle East region yet.

Based on the G37 Coupé, the G37 Convertible promises according to Infiniti a beautiful styling and the dynamic performance worthy of an Infiniti G.
The G37 Convertible will feature a three-piece automatic retracting hardtop, to keep a coupé-like roofline, and the option of a unique interior treatment. Audio and air conditioning systems have been tuned to operate perfectly with the top up or down – something very essential for hot regions like S
The G37 Convertible is under study for launch in Europe where it would join its sister G models, the G37 Sedan and Coupé, in Infiniti Centres which begin opening across the Continent from October.

Although the slogan ‘G is for Gorgeous’ reminds me very much with the ‘Gorgeous’ campaign of the Jaguar XK, I personally believe that the G37 Convertible looks indeed gorgeous. We can hardly wait to test this ‘gorgeous’ car soon.
