Chrysler / Dodge recalls 40,000 models over ignition problem
NHTSA has announced a new recall for around 40,000 Chrysler vehicles as the ignition system allows the key to be pulled out even if the car isn’t in Park. If this happens, the vehicle begins to move on its own, according to many complaints.
The vehicles in question include 2010 model year versions of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Ram, Jeep Commander and the outgoing Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Owners should contact their local Chrysler dealership in order to get the cars fixed, free of charge.
