Renault discusses partnership with Daimler


French carmaker's Chief Operating Officer, Patrick Pelata, confirmed that the French car manufacturer Renault is in talks with Daimler and other companies about partnerships. Several press reports in Europe have said that Daimler seeks a partner for its Smart brand and for engines for its Mercedes-Benz B-Class and other compact models.
