Škoda Increases Scrappage Offer on Octavia

Due to the success of the Government’s scrappage scheme and an especially high demand for Škodas, the Czech manufacturer is introducing an even higher discount on the Octavia range.

Customers purchasing the 1.8 TSI Octavia will now enjoy a generous £3,200 reduction at the showroom, including the Government incentive of £1,000, whilst the newly-introduced1.6 MPI Octavia S and SE models will have £2,000 support from Škoda for a total discount of £3,000, resulting in on-the-road prices from just £8,995.

The scrappage offer has also been increased on all 1.9 TDI, 2.0 TDI and vRS 2.0 TDI CR engines. These diesel engines are now available with a total discount of £3,500, including the £1,000 government incentive.

Chris Horrell, Škoda Product Marketing Manager comments: “The scrappage scheme has been a great success for Škoda, so much so that we’ve extended our offers across the brand to cope with demand.

“We’ve taken over 2,000 orders under the scheme and are confident of that figure rising further as more drivers seek to take advantage of the extended offer and Škoda’s economic running costs.”

Poll

How do you evaluate the official Volkswagen importer and its service center in Egypt?
  • Very bad. Volkswagen needs a new representative in Egypt, preferably Dogus Auto from Turkey which was official VW Nutzfahrzeuge dealer in Egypt once before.
  • Bad. Volkswagen needs a new representative in Egypt, preferably a new importer from the Gulf region.
  • Average. But Volkswagen still needs a new 'Egyptian' representative or importer in Egypt.
  • Good. Egyptian Automotive Company and Karim El Naggar are doing a good job. Everything should stay the same.
