RENAULT AND MINISTER OF INDUSTRY OF VENEZUELA LAUNCH STUDY OF INDUSTRIAL PROJECT
This signature will enable a feasibility study for local production of vehicles.
The first Training Centre for Automotive Mechatronics (the systematic combination of mechanics, electronics and real time information technology) was inaugurated at the Dr. Federico Rivero Palacio University Technology Institute of the University of Caracas.
This centre is the result of a joint project between the Venezuelan Ministry of the People’s Power for University Education, the French Ministry of National Education and Renault Venezuela. This new offering will enable 60 students each year to obtain an automotive technician diploma
With this centre, Renault affirms its desire to contribute to the development of the Venezuelan automobile industry and confirms its commitment to the customers who have placed their trust in Renault for more than 55 years.
Renault Venezuela SA is a wholly-owned Renault sales subsidiary. Since the start of its operations in Venezuela, Renault has sold more than 132,000 vehicles and developed a local network of 20 dealerships and service centres as well as a world-class professional and technical training centre.
