McLAREN PARTNERS WITH CORDIER MESTREZAT TO HOST JOINT VIP EXPERIENCE DURING VINEXPO 2013
The joint event, on the evening of 17 June at Chateaux Cordier, will bring together state-of-the-art, high performance McLaren sportscars and the prestigious Bordeaux Grands Cru Classés.
The groundbreaking 12C Spider will be on display to guests in the extravagant setting of Chateaux Cordier – a breathtaking castle formerly serving as stables of Napoleon III’s Imperial Guard. Further examples of the McLaren 12C and 12C Spider will be prominently showcased at the entrance of the iconic Grand Hotel overlooking Bordeaux’s vibrant city centre.
’We are delighted to be the first automotive brand to collaborate on an event at Vinexpo in Bordeaux, the heart of the winemaking world’ explained David Brimson, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing – Europe, McLaren Automotive.
‘Cordier Mestrezat shares many of the brand values that McLaren Automotive work towards, striving for excellence and an obsessive attention to detail that is globally recognised, delivering the very best products to the luxury market. This partnership will create a great platform to communicate this philosophy and we look forward to hosting an ultimate VIP experience for people sharing the values and passion seen across the 50-year heritage of McLaren.’
Commenting on the partnership, David Bolzan, Managing Director of Cordier Mestrezat Grands Crus added: ‘We could not find better place and opportunity to launch this unique experience with McLaren Automotive.
As a brand we share the same vision and we are proud to welcome the connoisseurs to the beautiful Grands Crus region to take part in this world-leading event here in Bordeaux.’
