Dunlop puts focus on its sporty and dynamic reputation at the Geneva Motor Show 2014

Dunlop, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high and ultra high performance tires, is focusing on its sporty and dynamic brand positioning at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. In addition to the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG fitted with Dunlop Sport Maxx RT on its booth at Geneva, Dunlop has also recently been approved on a number of leading AMG cars.

Successful race tire development for the SLS AMG GT3:
Expanding into racing, Dunlop is a technology partner of the AMG customer sport department and has delivered advanced race tires for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 since 2011.

Numerous race wins in the VLN Endurance Championship at the Nürburgring and the crowning glory of the victory in the 24 -hour race at the Nürburgring in 2013 are evidence of a successful and ongoing co-operation between the companies.

Original Equipment on many Mercedes-AMG models:
Today, the co-operation between Dunlop and Mercedes-AMG stretches across several car models. In 2012 the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series was delivered on Dunlop Sport Maxx Race as part of the “Track Package”.

In 2013 the A 45 AMG and CLA 45 AMG were both released on Dunlop’s Sport Maxx RT, building on the tire’s optimized braking performance and precise handling. Currently, the SLS AMG GT’s "Final Edition" comes on Dunlop Sport Maxx Race.

Aside from these fitments, Dunlop also provides fitments for models such as the ML 63 AMG, SL 65 AMG and the CL 63 AMG. All tires are specially developed by Dunlop for Mercedes-AMG and can be identified by the "MO" marking on the tires.
