AUH CLASS VICTORY AT 24 HOURS OF DUBAI
Driving an Aston Martin Vantage GT4, UAE National driver Humaid Al Masaood, UAE-based British driver Michael Prophet and French driver Eric Charles, and British driver Alex Kapadia powered to victory in the tightly contested SP3 class in a thrilling race which saw eighty cars take to the track for the fifth year of this popular endurance event.
Battling fatigue and soaring temperatures, the AUH Motorsports drivers drove an exciting race to clinch victory after completing 2,814 kilometres of the circuit at the Dubai Autodrome.
The 24 hours of Dubai was AUH Motorsports’ 24 hour endurance racing debut. AUH Motorsports has already seen great success in Radical racing; winning theSR3 class in the 2009 European Radical Championship in their debut season.
This class win at the 24 hours of Dubai will be the team’s first step towards a European campaign in the FIA GT4 Championship and selected European 24 Hour races.
