New man to drive Mercedes-Benz marketing
Finally Daimler Middle East & Levant has received a new media-experienced marketing manager in Dubai. Lebanese Fadi El Aswad has joined the Daimler Middle East & Levant team at the Dubai-based office as Marketing Manager, Mercedes-Benz Cars.
He replaces the Egyptian Ashraf Tamim who joined Abdul Rahman AlBisher & Zaid AlKazemi Co., the authorised Mercedes-Benz distributor in Kuwait, as Sales Manager.
El Aswad, 38, who holds a Bachelor of Marketing and Advertising degree from Notre Dame University, Lebanon, was previously Group Account Director at Impact BBD0 in Dubai, and has over 11 year experience in the advertising industry including working for a number of major automotive brands in the region.
This advertising and media experience shall give him the ability of evaluating the local and regional media market in a way that will be very important for marketing the upcoming models of Mercedes Benz such as the SLS AMG E-Cell, the new 2011 Viano and Vito, the new 2011 CLS and CLS 63 AMG, the new SL, the new SLS AMG Roadster, the new C-Class, the new B-Class, the new CL and last but surely not least the new 2012 S-Class.
“My objective is to ensure that my team co-ordinates a planned campaign of regional marketing activities with our general distributors to maximize opportunities for our current and forthcoming range of products to assure drivers that there has never been a better time to get behind the wheel of an award-wining Mercedes-Benz vehicle, said El Aswad.
We wish El Aswad all the luck for his new task.
